皆さんは英語喉と言う本を知っていますか？または聞いた事がありますか？
この本は日本人の英語の発音を改善すべく考えられた英語発音のためのメソッドです。
興味がありましたら是非とも実践してみてください。とっても素晴らしいメソッドだと思います。私はこの英語喉を実践してもうすぐ一年になりますが発音がだいぶ改善されました。
さて、この英語喉本ですがネット上でかなり批判を受けているようです。その批判のほとんどが著者である上川氏の人格的な批判だったり頭から英語喉の内容を否定するものばかりです。どんな教本を使うかは読者の自由だと思いますがそのような批判だらけのコメントは読んでいてとても不愉快に思います。もっと前向きなコメントが出来ないものかと思うばかりです。
批判をしている人の中には学校の英語の先生もいます。ご自身のブログに英語喉の批判も書かれています。　
私は英語喉に出会い英語の音声をYoutubeなどにアップしたりもしています。自分の英語の音声をアップする事はとても恥ずかしい事です。しかしこれは自分の英語の発音がどう変わっていくかと言う実験でもあるし、多くの人と共有したいと言う気持ちからなのです。英語喉を批判する人たちはそうした練習中のアップされた音声を批判し英語喉がいかに駄目なメソッドかを指摘します。幸いなことに私の音声は批判されていないようですが、私は批判されても英語喉を実践するつもりです。
先日、批判している人の英語の発音がどんなものなのか聞いて見たくてネットで色々と探したのですが見つかりませんでした。その反面、英語喉を実践している人の音声は簡単に探す事が出来るのです。これはどう言うことでしょう？　英語喉を批判する人たちの音声を是非アップして頂きたいものです。
今、英語喉の実践者は確実に増えていっているように感じています。そのうちにこのメソッドの有用性を誰もが認識する日が来ると思います。
一度、英語喉の効果を知ってしまうと英語に対する見方が大きく変わります。

Talkative person.

Today's topic is talkative person.
What do you think about a talkative person?
Actually, I'm not talkative but when I see a talkative person I envy them because they are always in a center of a communication.
They said, talkative person is easier to get skill of second language also.
Do you believe this idea?
If that is truth, I have to be more talkative more than now.
I've been learning English for a long time, but even thought It is hard to improve more.

A range of meaning.
I have to learn the range of meaning of English words.
When you hear this word "Lock" what would you imagine first?
Lock the Key.
I only would imagine the key.
When it comes to "Lock" I only can imagine a key.
I only can imagine a small things that you can hold it in your hand but actually there are some other meanings.
Lock the gate that to allow boats to move to a different water level.
If you only follow Japanese meaning you wouldn't learn another meaning of English words.
This is my experience that I was surprised.
I couldn't imagine a gate from the word lock.
As same as I did, there are many meanings on English words.
I have to learn a range of meaning from English.

The moon

I'm going to talk about moon in English.
These are type of shape of moon.
New, Crescent, half, gibbous, and full.
Getting bigger is called "waxing"
Getting smaller is called "waning"

This is a mnemonic device.
This is for memorizing of solar system.
I learned it yesterday.
It's stand for Mercury, Venus, earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
We have mnemonic device in Japanese too.
We would say like this,  水金地火木土天海冥.（sui kin chi ka moku do ten kai may)
It is interesting.

The eclipes

I'm looking forward to seeing eclipse of the sun in 21th May 2012.
It must be amazing.
I'm going to take a day off!
By then I have to get skill of how to use a telescope.
I have to buy new tripod and get skill of taking a picture via a telescope or a binoculars.
Speaking of a binoculars, I bought it recently.
Did I mention it before?  just in case.
This time is rare case, so I really want to see it.
Revolving of the moon, revolving of the earth, and everything are involved in each other.
I'll be glad to see it.

The universe

I'm really into searching of outer space recently and I can't wait to see it in the night.
Unfortunately, it's cloudy tonight.
During searching outer space, I can feel comfortable as if I'm a part of nature.
The universe is mysterious.

天体観測

冬のこの時期に夜空を眺めると星がたくさん輝いています。
今まで何気なく見逃していた星の数々を改めてじっくり観察すると
とっても落ち着きます。頭上の星を口をポカンとひらいて見ていると
吸い込まれそうな気持ちになります。また、どれだけ宇宙って広いの
だろうと不思議な気持ちになります。望遠鏡を使わなくても十分楽しめます。
星と語らい合うそんな時間があってもいいかも知れませんね。
