Hi, everyone!
Do you know these words in Japanese?
乗り鉄 noritetu, 撮り鉄 toritetu.
These words are describing people who are really love taking a train or taking a picture of train.
乗り鉄 love to get on a train and have some their trip.
撮り鉄 love to take a picture of train when train is running or stopping at a station.
I can understand their idea.
I'm not exact sure there are some tips to love them or not but at least I can understand their idea.

To tell you the truth, I love watching a airplane via YouTube.
It's really cool!
I don't know whether there is a describing words that people who love it or not as I mentioned before as 乗り鉄、撮り鉄。
I'm not into train but I am into airplane.

By the way, Can I call airplane into "she" or "he" ?
I want to know about it.
Am I strange if I say airplane to he or she?

Please tell me about it.

I felt someone climbing up on the ceiling of my house.
At that time T.V show said that some fugitive from justice has still running away.
I related it to that fact.
Oh my god!
I thought The man who were prison-breaker was coming my house.
Ended up, it was not prison-breaker.
It was an electrical engineer who we asked to some task yesterday.
We didn't know he is coming our house today.
That's why I couldn't believe that.
at least, I wanted him to call us before he got started his job.

I was born during the year of the dragon and again this year is the year of the dragon, I want to be a happy this year!
The curry shop I frequent is near Karaoke shop.
I want to go to there because I haven't been singing for a while.
I want to try singing "I was born this way".

My new year's resolution

My new year's resolution is to focus on reading English newspaper and also focus on Eigo nodo method.
Just because I will focus on reading newspaper it doesn't mean I forget eigo nodo method.
There are lot of useful expression in newspaper so I have to learn new expression from them.
I just want to improve my English skill more than before.
Powerhouse is one of expression I learned from English newspaper.
That was from sports topic.
It means 強敵

今年の英語の目標は！

英字新聞に書かれた内容を正確に把握し読み取れるくらいのスキルを
身につけることです。

取り立てて難しい文法と言うものではなく、日常の英字新聞を理解する
能力と話せる能力を身につけたいと思います。
今年は英字新聞を沢山読みたいと思います。

I downloaded a free game for iPad, it is called flight control.
It is very fun to play it.  I like it.
This is simulation game of an air traffic controller.
I have to avoid collisions.
There are three landing strip at an airport.
The plane is suddenly showing from edge of screens.
I have to lead plane to the runaway.
If you make a collision, it's game over!
This game is exiting!
I am addicted to this game recently.

Forgetting comes with the territory.

Forgetting comes with the territory for English learners.
I have already forgot a lot of good explanations,good idioms, words and phrases what I wanted to memorize.
I really wanted to keep it as my knowledge.
that's why I'm writing them now.
In generally, if you have a lot of explanation you can speak it naturally.
I bought some electrical news paper on my ipad 2. it is useful to memorizing good explanation in English. so I'm going to read all of them in this end of year and memorise good phrases.
Come to think of it, this year of new year's resolution was to improve my English skill, but I can't say it O.K.
I really want to improve it once and for all!

語順について

今朝、インターネットでyahooを開いてみると「ジーコ訃報に悲しい日」とのみ出しが飛び込んで来てビックリした。ジーコ氏が亡くなったのかと思ってよく読むと、サッカー元ブラジル代表主将ソクラテス氏が4日死去したことを受けてのコメントだったらしい。
亡くなられた方のご冥福をお祈りいたします。

さて、今日の話しは日本語の語順について思い出した事がある。
我々の日本語は語順が前後に入れ替わっていても「て、に、を、は」を使ってある程度自由に語順を入れ替える事が出来る。しかし、他の言語、例えば英語や中国語は語順が大事であると言う。 以前に語学番組で中国人が言っていたことなのですが、ある新聞記事の見出しに「少女殺人事件」とあって、その中国人はてっきり少女が殺人を犯したのかと思って記事を読み進めると、殺されたのは少女と分かり不思議に思ったそうだ。
今回、私も「ジーコ訃報に悲しい日」でジーコが死んだのかと思いびっくりしたのだった。果たして何人の日本人が私と同じ勘違いをしたのだろうかとちょっと興味深い。
こうしてみると日本語と言うのは紛らわしいのかも知れない。

英語を知る前には思っても見なかった事が最近、妙に気になる事がもうひとつある。
それはラジオ番組の曲目紹介だ。最近では英語混じりの曲目が多いからラジオのパーソナリティーもそれなりに大変だとは思うけど、コテコテの日本語で言うのだけはやめて欲しいものだ。下手でもいいから「英語で読むぞ！」と言う意思を示した方がまだましなのでは？ と思ってしまう。 コテコテの日本語の発音だと違和感がある。そんな事を思う今日この頃である。
